Before I started the Wright Workout™ Power Pole workouts I was in a real funk. I just kept gaining weight and not caring about exercising and felt hopeless. Then Renee entered my life and I thought maybe, just maybe, the Power Pole program could motivate me to get started on a healthier path.

I take medicine for high blood pressure and high cholesterol and all of my doctors have told me how important it was to exercise. Before, I started the Power Pole program the only exercise I did was walk on the treadmill occasionally. I had many doubts that I would be capable of doing your program. Right before I started I was on medicine for sciatica and I worried whether doing the Power Poles would aggravate that. I am 60 years old and I was worried whether I could do any of the exercise program without hurting myself. 

I had tried CURVES and really couldn't deal with the quick 30 seconds on and off each machine. So I was very hopeful, yet skeptical whether the power poles would be for me. I was eager to get started and try it and knew that if it didn't work I'd be on a downward spiral.

Then, we started. It was definitely challenging but I made it through the first class making a few adjustments to meet my needs. I was happy that I could do it, but how would I be after a few times? I found that I kept getting stronger as the sessions continued and that I could do all of the exercises (with a few modifications, like lower impact) and not injure myself or stir up any sciatica. I was thrilled.

Now I look forward to our workouts and would hate to miss any of them. I like the way the video tape is divided into sections such as the warm-up, section 1, 2, 3, and 4. It makes it go really fast. I also enjoy that when we do an exercise, the most we do is 16 of something and if it's really hard, I know I can get through that many of them and it doesn't get boring.

The Power Poles really help me with my balance which is something I need help with. Renee’s voice and the scenery in the video is all very pleasing and easy to watch. I like doing it with a group and it's nice because no one is watching you, everyone is watching the tape.

The Power Pole program has inspired me to watch my diet, eat healthier and lose weight. I feel much stronger and younger and more capable after doing the Power Pole workouts. There are so many benefits from doing it that I can't begin to tell you. My husband has lost weight since we are both eating healthier and he is thrilled with how I look.

After 11 weeks, I've lost 12 lbs and over 22 inches and feel so much stronger! I have so much more energy and feel years younger and everyone tells me I look younger! The best part though is my blood tests. I have had high cholesterol for years and am on medication for it. I had a blood test before I started the program and 3 months after.  My test results were significantly better. My total cholesterol was 149, HDL was 48 and LDL was 78. As the doctor wrote on my results "perfect cholesterol breakdown". I could not have achieved that without being in the Wright Workout™ Power Pole program. I look forward to continuing for a long, long time.
