The Wright Workout came along at a time when I was caught in a physical
downward spiral.
At the age of 49, after four kids - three in three years - I
slipped on ice while getting out of my car. I landed flat
on my back, cracked my head on the edge of the car floor, scared
the heck out of my kids, and I wasn’t comfortable in any
position, sitting, standing, or lying in bed, for the next year.
Then I turned 50! That Christmas I was diagnosed with breast
cancer. I
had two operations within a six-day period, and went through that
whole process. Then along came my 51st birthday. I spent
an entire day taking my mom to the hospital with pneumonia, came
home, fed my family, and four hours later ended up at the emergency
room sicker than I had ever been before. My hospital stay
lasted a week and my recovery took over two months.
That’s when I began the Wright Workout™. Today I feel
like a million bucks. I sweat and smile and enjoy every minute
of the Kick Butt video. Having been a competitive figure
skater and coach for most of my life, I have experience with training
and conditioning. It feels so good to be back pushing and
working hard. Renee’s enthusiasm pushes me to push
myself, and it really feels great.
On top of the weight loss and
conditioning, my complexion is better, my hair is shinier and
my nails are growing for the first time in two years. The
Wright Workout™ has got my blood flowing and my body working again,
and I’m approaching 52 with a fresh focus, a new attitude,
and a new lease on life.
