When
I first heard about the Wright Workout™, I wasn’t sure
it was the right program for me. I didn’t have a lot
of weight to lose. I needed to get more toned. Over the past two
years, I lost more than twenty pounds. I felt that I could continue
to maintain my weight on my own. I had also recently joined Curves,
which was one in a whole host of exercise programs or health clubs
that I had joined in my adult years.
Unfortunately, I always
found it difficult to stay committed to an exercise program. My
lower back problems greatly curtail the type of exercise I can do.
However, the importance of exercise has become increasingly clearer
as I have become older. In
addition to some weight gain, my strength and energy level has
greatly decreased. Three kids and forty-seven years of age may
have something to do with that, as has my strength.
Renee
was so excited about her program when I spoke with her. So,
I decided I try the Kick Butt and Lunge class. After all, the class
was only an eight week commitment. Twelve weeks later, I am still
in the program and I am feeling better about myself every day.
I have lost weight and inches and I find my strength and energy
level increasing all the time. More than anything, I feel positive
about committing myself to an exercise program and sticking with
it.
When I went to the first Power Poles class to have my picture
taken, I wore a big, long t-shirt over leggings because I was uncomfortable
with the way my lower body looked. As the class progressed
and I was getting results, I started wearing shorts and smaller,
tighter shirts because I actually liked the way I looked! This
wouldn’t have been possible without Renee’s energy
and passion for her program. We are all rooting for each other’s
success. We feel confident and inspired by Renee.
I feel very
lucky to be a part of the Wright Workout™.
